Project Narrative

Tropical Villas is a proposed premium residential master plan designed for KA.VE Builders, situated on an expansive 8-acre waterfront site adjacent to the Kadambrayar River in Kakkanad, Kochi. The development envisions a harmonious community comprising 35 private villas, 3 spacious villaments, and one elegant highrise apartment tower, balancing density with extensive natural landscapes. The project draws inspiration from tropical modernism and waterfront living, with building orientations optimized for riverside wind channels and shading. A central green corridor connects all residences to the riverfront park and public spaces, encouraging community interaction. Sustainability is integrated at every scale, from bioswales and native vegetation to rainwater harvesting and solar energy integration, establishing a model for responsible, ecological urban housing in Kochi.
